Fairy Light Making Workshops
Enjoy a few hours of crafting and create your very own mini lampshade fairy lights! This class is great for either a beginner or experienced crafter. We will cover how to apply the lampshade PVC to your fabric or paper, how to punch the holes and string the 10 lights together! By the end of the workshop you will get to go home with your own set of fairy lights and will have all the skills to create many more wonderful little lights!
Ticket cost includes all tools for the class including a selection of fabric and paper to use. However this is a great chance to use up your favourite remnants and scraps of fabric or paper, so please feel free to bring along your own pieces too. You will roughly need about 10 pieces that are at least 20cm W x 10cm H for your mini lampshades.
If you have any questions about the class or fabric choice then do get in touch
Not at the studio but at an eclectic little shop off the Seven Dials. Lovely small group, only 5 of us allowing us all to have individual attention. I chose to use Jo’s materials rather than take my own which was an option. She was very well organised and instructions were very clear and helpful. I’m very pleased with my end product and would definitely do another workshop with Jo.
A fantastic workshop, Jo is very talented and made the day great, I cant wait to make more.
Had a lovely afternoon making Christmas fairy lights with Jo. Very patient and all instructions carefully explained ,Plenty of space to work without all being on top of each other. Would highly recommend this course its really good value
Joanna's fairy light lampshade making course was really fun and informative. An enjoyable couple of hours and really pleased with my end result! A beautiful studio space and location and fun and friendly workshop. Tea and biscuits on tap!
This is the second workshop I have attended and both were very relaxed, inspirational and perfect for bringing out our creativity! Jo is great at teaching us novices and the pieces made are proudly displayed at home and commented on. Hope to attend another soon!
