Our standard drum sizes

20cm D x 20cm H – Works best as a table lamp but can also be used as a ceiling pendent in a small room

25cm D x 20cm H - Works best as a table lamp or in a smaller room as a ceiling pendent

30cm D x 22cm H – Works best as a larger table lamp or in a medium size room as a ceiling pendent

40cm D x 24cm H – Works best either on a floor standard lamp base or as a statement ceiling shade

45cm D x 25cm H - Works best either on a floor standard lamp base or as a statement ceiling shade

If you would like a completely bespoke size then please do get in touch. Our drum ringset come in increments of 5cm starting from 10cm. We also can cut all of our lampshade PVC at our studio meaning you can have it at any height.

 

Tapered Shade

Our tapered shades are cone-shaped, with smaller top rings to bottom. This is made with our printed cotton fabric, and bonded to a fire retardant PVC backing with a top and bottom ring. Our drum shades are finished with cotton taped inside edges. All tapered shades are handmade in our studio on Hove. 

Traditional Shades - Empire & Bell

Traditional shades are also known as soft shades and are made using the traditional method of stretching fabric over a fixed wire frame and hand stitched in place. Our traditional shades are trimmed with pom pom trim on the bottom and hand stitched bias binding along the top

Our plain coloured traditional frames have been sprayed silver to give the shade more interest. If you would like your frame sprayed in a particular colour then please feel free to get in contact

Traditional Empire

A sloping fixed frame, which is smaller at the top then the bottom. The bottom also has a scalloped edge. This style of traditional shade is probably the most common shape when it comes to soft shades. All traditional shades are handmade in our studio on Hove.

Our empire shades can be used on a lamp base or a ceiling fitting. This empire frame is fitted with a reversible gimble that will fit standard UK table lamps or pendant fittings. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, which is most common in Europe. Simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.

Small: Top Ring - 12.8cm, Bottom Ring - 26.5cm, Height - 20.2cm - Works best as a table lamp

Medium: Top Ring - 15.2cm, Bottom Ring - 31.9cm, Height - 24cm - Works best as a larger table lamp or in a medium size room as a ceiling pendent

Large: Top Ring - 17.7cm, Bottom Ring - 36.9cm, Height - 27.1cm - Works best either on a large floor standard lamp base or as a statement ceiling shade in a large room

Traditional Bell

This fixed frame resembles a bell, and flares out at the bottom with a scalloped edge. Narrow at the top and wider at the bottom, they are very versatile. Our bell traditional shades can only be used as a ceiling pendent.

Our medium bell shade will fit standard UK Table lamps or pendant fittings. However our large bell shade will fit a standard bayonet cap (BC) holder and also be used with Edison Screw (E27) holders, which is most common in Europe. Simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.
